Skyline Hikers of Canadian Rockies (SHCR)

Since 1933, the Skyline Hikers of the Canadian Rockies have offered a unique way
to experience the back country of Canada's mountain parks.

Attention SHCR Members : If you did not receive an e-mail from the Marketing & Publicity Committee (MPC) that was sent on 4 December, then either

the e-mail address SHCR has on record for you is no longer valid (there were a number of could not deliver messages received) or
you had not provided the SHCR with an e-mail address when you registered to become a member.

Please send an e-mail to info@skylinehikers.ca with your current e-mail address so that you will not miss out on e-mail messages from the SHCR in the future. The MPC intends to keep the SHCR engaged with members throughout the year with timely news and information.

This will be important if you want to have access to the Members Area on this website as you will be receiving only by e-mail your unique userID and instructions for access.

Controlled-access Portals

The categories in the drop-down menu under the Members Area button on front page are for these specific purposes.

Members : all members in good standing with the SHCR have access.
Corporate : members of the SHCR Executive Committee and the Council have access.
Publicity : members of the Marketing & Publicity Committee have access.
Others : will be added as required.

Purpose

The controlled-access portals are reserved for SHCR members in good standing (i.e., up-to-date membership).

Members will receive from the SHCR webmaster an individual e-mail * containing their assigned userID and password, along with instructions on how to access the portals and which ones they have been granted permission to enter.

This section features information, bulletins, newsletter and other documents that are for members use only.

* Only one e-mail will be sent – please retain it for future reference. In event you encounter a problem in accessing one of the controlled-access portals, send an e-mail to SHCR webmaster ( webmaster@skylinehikers.ca )
